INMATERIALIA FILM FEST – Provincia de Burgos
International Short Film Festival on Intangible Cultural Heritage
General Information
INMATERIALIA FILM FEST – Provincia de Burgos is an international short film festival organized by the Diputación Provincial de Burgos (Spain), dedicated to the promotion, dissemination and preservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage through cinema.
The festival welcomes audiovisual works that portray living traditions, oral expressions, rituals, celebrations, traditional knowledge, craftsmanship, gastronomy and other forms of intangible cultural heritage from around the world.
The Santa Fe de Antioquia Film Festival Corporation decided, through the Festival, to turn the municipality of Santa Fe de Antioquia into a large movie theater and show open-air cinema, under the stars and framed in the colonial architecture of one of the Heritage towns of Colombia.
Over the years, the Santa Fe de Antioquia Film Festival has sought to bring cinema closer to the public through workshops, conferences, a central screening of films according to the theme, and training workshops. These activities are designed not only for the inhabitants of the municipality of Santa Fe de Antioquia, but also for inhabitants of Medellín and other inhabitants of western Antioquia and in general for university students, specialized journalists, filmmakers in training, film critics, producers, filmmakers and film lovers who for twenty-three years add up to an annual average of 15,000 festival attendees.
We live in a time that moves fast, where the visible is everything, simplicity prevails, and complexity disturbs. In this time, we choose short cinema. Not to simplify, but to condense. Not to explain, but to suggest.
Inferenze Short Film Festival is a space of passage, a crossing between the visible and the invisible, between memory and imagination. Here, each short film is a minimal gesture that digs deep. Each story is a layering: fragments of reality, visions, languages, sounds and silences. A thought settles into the image. An image awakens thought.
We chose an archaeological museum as our venue because the past, too, is an inference: we never see it completely, but we sense its form through ruins, through the traces that remain. Just like cinema, true meaning never reveals itself entirely, but emerges from nuances, unspoken moments, and the spaces between words.
The subtitle of this eighth edition, “Epiphanies of the Specter" points to a moment of revelation: when what is latent takes shape and becomes visible. The festival focuses on these apparitions, favoring works that question the image and challenge its boundaries, between presence and absence, reality and perception.
Inferenze is the festival that celebrates complexity, ambiguity, the question itself. We are not looking for easy answers, but new questions. We don’t offer pre-packaged visions, but invitations to think. This is our way of looking at the world. Beneath the surface, there is always something more.

BUD! International Film Festival
WE DON'T REMEMBER. WE RESURRECT.
Viktor Proskurin was more than an actor; he was an institution of truth. He commanded the screen with the intellectual intensity and moral weight of a Sir Anthony Hopkins, capable of conveying profound depth with a single glance. At the same time, he held the unshakable public trust and everyman dignity of a Tom Hanks.
Our festival is not a memorial ritual. It is a machine for resurrecting his spirit. We seek films that possess the same authenticity, the same fearlessness in the face of the system. We create a space where the truth of a character is more important than its budget, and the courage of the author is more valuable than glamour.
The "BUD!" Festival in memory of Proskurin is not a film review. It is a casting call for a new breed of creators. Those who, like Viktor, dare to BE. Loudly. Fiercely. Irreversibly honest.
Our goal: To become a melting pot for an authentic cinematic language, where Proskurin's legacy becomes the benchmark.
Our belief: Authenticity is the new currency. And truth is the most in-demand genre.
