In 2026, the Festival Internacional de Cinema Ambiental e Sustentabilidade presents a renewed identity and becomes FICSA – Festival Internacional de Cinema, Sustentabilidade e Ambiente
This is a rebranding of the existing festival, preserving its history, mission and commitment to environmental cinema while creating a broader programme structure.
Specific objectives:
To screen and award fiction, animation or documentary films by filmmakers that promote debate on the preservation of regional, national and international forests or other relevant themes: climate change, biodiversity, conservation, renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, among others.
Films that promote environmental awareness and inspire positive change.
